CONGRATULATIONS TO THE BRITISH OLYMPIC EVENTING TEAM

Wow! We've been mesmerised over the last four days by the skill, bravery and talent of all the riders and horses, be they British, European or from elsewhere... they've all been wonderful to watch and simply awe-inspiring. And what a fantastic venue Greenwich turned out to be. We admit, we were somewhat sniffy when it was announced that's where the eventing was to be held but we had to eat our words... and how! The most beautiful backdrop to the arena, a suitably testing cross country course with breathtaking views across London and then there was the sheer craftsmanship and thought that went into the jumps. We were lucky enough to walk the course prior to the cross country and the jumps were nothing less than a work of art. And at the end of it all, a Silver medal for Britain! How fantastic was that?
