We've been so impressed with this new jacket from Sherwood Forest that we've recommended it to SURC for their 2009/10 season! There are two choices this year, a plain jacket with 'Southampton University Riding Club' printed on the back or a bespoke embroidery option, which includes your name on the front. The embroidered version is beautifully modelled by team member Diane Chrich, thanks Diane!

The blouson-style jacket is unisex and made in a breathable, waterproof microfibre.

It has a cosy fleece lining around the inside of the high neck and throughout the body of the jacket. The sleeves are slightly padded but not enough to be restricting when riding. The cuffs and hem are elasticated and the two front pockets have zips.

Inside is a handy mobile phone pocket and a separate security pocket - both secured with a velcro fastening.

The jacket is washable.

Our only disappointment is that the front zip is one-way only; to be perfect, we would have preferred a two-way zip!

Sensible colours for the boys and men (navy with graphite lining) and a gorgeous colour for the girls (navy with an attractive and fun pink lining).
