Cavaletti was delighted to meet Martin Clunes (aka Doc Martin from the television series) and his two wonderful Clydesdale horses, Bruce and Ronnie, when he brought them to The Fortune Centre of Riding Therapy yesterday. All three of them proved a massive hit with students, staff and visitors.

Bruce and Ronnie stood so patiently whilst they were admired, patted, stroked and generally fussed over by one and all. At 18 and 18.2 hands they were HUGE – but quite obviously such gentle giants. Meanwhile, Martin’s willingness to answer every question and stand in every photo was quite extraordinary. He’s obviously quite delighted by his horses and unafraid to show the joy and pleasure that they’re giving him.

Last year, Martin accepted The Fortune Centre’s invitation to become their Patron and, despite his busy television and acting work, is more than generous with his time and support.
